Angie,
This video really struck a chord with me. I haven’t seen or talked to you in years so you probably aren’t aware that my son Jax has been in and out of the juvenile justice system for the past three years. He is currently at the Idaho Youth Challenge Academy until June and (thank God) is doing very well for the first time in years. I wish I had known about your organization when all of this started but I’m glad to know about it now. I have felt so alone and like a failure as a parent. You are surely doing God’s work by supporting families in crisis.
Thank you for your encouragement and support Dianne. It’s a tough road traveling through the juvenile justice system alongside our kids. There are so many challenges we face and are forced to overcome. I hope that Jax is still doing well. I know God gave him a pretty amazing mama, and have zero doubts that you have had and will continue to have a tremendous influence over his life. Sorry, it took two years to reply to your comment. I just figured out how to do it!! Life never stops giving us opportunities to grow 😉
